Join us at Food for Thought (FFT) East and help us pack PowerSacks for children in need. Volunteers help little ones bridge the hunger gap between the meals they receive at school and the weekend, when these meals are not available. Activities at FFT East take place inside a warehouse, so please make sure you are dressed comfortably for both movement and the weather--layers are a good idea! Parking is available in lot and on street (51st Ave). Volunteers must sign up to participate. Registration is easy: simply choose a date (or multiple dates) and job. If you have a group that would like to volunteer together, a group link is available.
